We will be a radiant Christian community in Waterside and beyond.

Our Purpose

We exist to be a growing community of Christ followers who shine the light of Jesus for His glory by loving Him, His family, and His treasure until His return.

Radiant Christian Community is a new church in South Miami-Dade County.  Much of our activity currently happens in a community called Waterside (near Homestead, Florida) because we see that God is at work here and that people here are reaching out to Him. 

Our name defines who we will be.  The word Radiant refers to how we relate to (and are perceived) by those around us.  We are determined to be a community that loves and reaches people with God’s light.  We can only be radiant because we are Christian; therefore, we are determined to love and follow Jesus, the Light of the world.  The word Community refers to how we are connected to one another, by God’s design, like one body with many members.  We are determined to be a community that loves and serves each other.

Our name defines what we do.  We hope that every day in countless ways each of us reflects the values of being radiant, Christian, and community.  Our scheduled activities reflect these values as well.  We hope to be Radiant (love and reach people) by the events and programs we offer to those around us.  We learn more about being Christian (love and follow Jesus) as we come together for our weekly Sunday gathering.  We practice being Community (love and serve each other) in our small groups.

Our name also describes the process of how we will become what our name suggests.  As we learn to love and follow Jesus, we will learn to love and serve His family, and to love and reach His treasure, who we hope will learn to love Jesus, and his family, and his treasure...
